
The Art of Meditation
Meditation is a powerful practice of getting in touch with your body, your mind, your energy, as well as deepening the connection to others, nature and the world. We live in a world, where disconnection from our feelings and our bodies, as well as disconnection from others and our earth is common. If we do not have a deep, nourished connection to ourselves, we cannot enter a deep and nourishing relationship with anyone else. Meditation practice is one way of creating that deeper connection, which can bring more peace, clarity and a stronger sense of aliveness to your life.
It is "easy" to meditate, however, there are many ways to do Meditation wrong, or to simply not know which type of meditation suits you best. Through extensive experience in various Meditation techniques, from Tibetan-Buddhist traditions to Sufi Traditions, and high-level personal guidance since I was younger, I can support you in your journey of deepening your Meditation practice. Through Meditation, we can become our own safe space, and we can learn to be with difficult emotions without needing to escape them. I believe that we hold great capacities within ourselves for healing, but we forgot how to activate these capacities. Meditation is one way of reconnecting to that part within yourself that can hold yourself and others deeply.
In our work together, we will find out which kind of meditation practice suits you best. I will guide you through Healing Meditation practices that will support you in your current (emotional) life situation. We will discuss suitable practices for the time in-between sessions. Our work together is aimed to support deepening the relationship to yourself on all levels (mind, body, energetic) and to others. It is a journey back to sensitivity and a stronger center within.
